Jorgensen has recently installed two complete pea lines with a large customer in England. Each line has a capacity of 16 tons fine peas per hour.

The lines consist of the following equipment:

Infeed

• 4 infeed hoppers
• 2 infeed elevators
• 2 infeed vibrators

Cleaning

• 2 air cleaners
• 2 pod & stick removers
• 2 automatic destoners
• 2 manual destoners
• 2 pea washers

Blanching/cooling

• 2 drum blanchers - type 402
• 2 drums - counter flow coolers
• 2 manual de-coak flumes
• 2 infeeds to treasher - complete fresh water and recycling water system

The two lines have been designed in close co-operation with the customer and his long experience within this field has resulted in two complete systems with several innovations and recommendation worthy solutions.
